About

Geoffrey G. Harrison has owned and operated an art gallery since 2010 when he purchased Seattle’s legendary archival picture framing company, “Plasteel Frames”. He immediately began to diversify the company by offering 19th, 20th, and 21st century artwork for purchase in addition to beginning to manufacture handcrafted specialty (wood-splined, inlaid, and shaped) hardwood picture frames and wholesaling them to other picture framers, nationally.

Geoffrey’s expertise lays in all aspects of fine custom archival picture framing including design, archival framing techniques, methods for long-term preservation, fabrication, and fine art handling in general and extend to his deep love and enjoyment of fine art, art historical research, and art curation.

He received a B.F.A. in Studio Art and Art History from the University of Rhode Island in 1998 and has spent nearly 30 years developing a career in art and fine custom picture framing all while maintaining a consistent painting practice.

Geoffrey’s passion is in locating, researching, and acquiring fine paintings from the 19th and 20th centuries, curating, offering, and placing an important, meaningful, and visually exciting collection of works with individual collectors, corporate collections, and institutions.

Geoffrey G. Harrison Fine Art is proud to work with and represent a small group of exciting contemporary artists from both the United States and Europe.

With decades of experience in art handling, curation, conservation, and art advisory, Geoffrey leverages a network of global creators and collectors to present pieces of enduring value. From identifying emerging trends to guiding investment decisions, Geoffrey translates artistic vision into tangible impact for homeowners, designers, and institutions alike.
