Federico Mazza (Italian, b. 1976)

Federico Mazza is an Italian visual artist based in central Italy.

His artistic practice focuses on landscape as a mental and symbolic space, exploring themes of memory, time and transformation through painting and image-based practices.
As a painter, he has exhibited in Italy and abroad, in private galleries and public institutions, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lissone and the Permanent Collection Arti del Fuoco at Villa Vertua Masolo, Nova Milanese.

Alongside his artistic research, Mazza has developed a parallel professional activity in visual communication, working on visual identity, editorial design and movie posters for cultural and film-related projects.
His poster for No Bears by Jafar Panahi was selected in MUBI’s Best Movie Posters of 2022
